Our Story
Our Story
Wanderfolk Collective was built around the idea that home isn’t a place — it’s a feeling you carry with you.
Founded by Katie and Erik, Wanderfolk grew from a shared love of the open road, good coffee, meaningful craft, and making things by hand. What started as a simple idea around a workbench quickly grew into something bigger: a family-driven place to create thoughtfully made goods inspired by open roads, cozy spaces, campfire conversations, and early mornings with coffee brewing and ideas unfolding.
Everything we create is made with intention, care, and a road-worn heartbeat. This is where family comes together — one thoughtfully made piece at a time.
Our goods are designed for wanderers, homebodies, and storytellers alike — pieces meant to be used, loved, and lived with. Whether something travels with you or stays rooted in your favorite corner of home, each item carries a bit of our story and invites you to add your own.
Wanderfolk Collective is about more than products — it’s about honoring the journey, celebrating creativity, and building something lasting with the people (and pups) we love most.
Meet the Makers
Wanderfolk Collective is a family-driven creative business, and every piece you see reflects the hands — and hearts — behind it.

Katie & Erik
The founders and makers behind Wanderfolk. From concept to creation, they handle the designing, crafting, testing, and refining of each product. Fueled by espresso, late-night ideas, and a shared love for handmade work, they believe the best things are built slowly and with care.
Katie brings an eye for detail, storytelling, and design — blending warmth, intention, and brand vision into every piece.
Erik brings craftsmanship, problem-solving, and an artist’s hand, shaping ideas into tangible goods. Together, they balance creativity with care, always focused on quality over quantity.
But Wanderfolk doesn’t stop with us.

Collin (Age 13)
A natural maker with a passion for 3D printing and design, Collin brings a tech-forward edge to the shop. He’s constantly experimenting, learning, and creating — and soon you’ll see featured products designed and produced by him as part of the Wanderfolk Collective family.
Camryn (Age 10)
Creative through and through, Camryn loves drawing, crafting, and making jewelry from polymer clay. Her imagination and hands-on creativity inspire future Wanderfolk pieces that celebrate art, playfulness, and self-expression — with select creations featured in the shop.
Widow & Lucy
Our two German Shepherds — full-time shop supervisors and constant companions. You’ll find them watching over the workspace, sneaking into designs, and reminding us to take breaks. They’re the heart of Wanderfolk — loyal, adventurous, and always close by.
Wanderfolk Collective is more than a shop — it’s a family creating goods with a road-worn heartbeat, made for life lived wide open.
